EXPORT SHADOWS

when exporting elevations  to autocad, there is no shadow in the autocad drawing.

is it possible to export the shadow like a layer? Or export the shadows in any other manner or format?

Hi @Anonymous,

no, there is no way to do that. My suggestion is to esport an image and overlap the shadows with the AutoCad model.

You can export the elevation with shadow to DWF and underlay it in the DWG.

Hi,

I am trying this workflow. It seems like the DWF is just a raster image? I don't seem to be able to enable snaps. How do I set up the underlay correctly?

The goal is to get the DWG to contain shadow information.

Thanks
