Hi fellas!
How do you guys export IFC-files for shared and local coordinates?
If I create a new site for the purpose I get a problem with all the dwg imports getting "lost".
(when I switch from shared coordinates site to the local coordinates site for a local ifc export).
Any solution?
Thanks in advance

Do you make use of the alternate UI for IFC?

The OOTB IFC exporter in Revit isn't up to par. It's missing a lot of valuable options. Personally I prefer to use the ArchiCAD IFC exporter. In my experience the results are better with that addin.
You can download the Graphisoft ArchiCAD Connection on:

Thanks, will try it out. But I would need an option for local or shared coordinates for the origin, does the Archicad IFC-plugin have that? Else I guess I have to change between sites and then all dwgs gets lost (with shared coordinates)
I think it should be possible to export. Same as you have in the alternate UI, but I find the Export Shared Coordinate system components have more functionality in the Graphisoft addin.
Hope this will fix your issue.
I haven't found a way to choose between local & shared coordinates in the alternate UI for IFC.
I have to change "site" first (and have a origin with 0,0,0 and one with real coordinates).
But I'll try the ArchiCAD IFC, looks pretty good.
