Hello all,
I want to export from a coordinated project in revit an ifc file. I chose the option Coordinate base : Shared Coordinates , but the person who cheched the file told me that it doesn't come in the correct position. When I link back the the same ifc file in Revit it comes correctly. ..
What I should do ? I need to chose another option from the ifc settings ?
Thank you in advance!
Try the 4 different export coordinate settings and link the models in an IFC viewer and not back to Revit and see which one works and use that.
There is this super guide that describes how coordinates are set up correctly between revit, tekla and archicad in relation to ifc files. download link https://anvisninger.molio.dk/~/media/6CA9468825534F0E99D05F5AECD588E5.ashx
The person who is trying to link it into his model is also using the same shared coordinate system?
