Export from Revit to CAD in polylines, not lines

Is there any way I can export to CAD from Revit and the elements export as polylines, and not lines? Or even blocks?

You can't for the elements. but you can export them as blocks or objects if you exported them as solids.

refer to below photo from export setup.

However, Rooms, spaces and area boundaries can be exported as polylines if you selected that in export setup.

Revit does not do that, but you can easily do this in AutoCAD. I imagine you always need to open the DWG files to fix or view them, and might as well just run a few extra commands.

Start by isolating the wall layer,  then use the JOIN command to select all lines on screen. I even produced a video for you: https://autode.sk/31ty5hu
