Hi There,

Do you have all the Revit updates installed yet? There is 5 releases for Revit 2015. You can see the updates in the Autodesk Applications Manager. Please see the attachment.

Alternatively you can see the latest updates by following this link: Autodesk Revit Updates

Please let me know if this helps.

Make sure that your windows updates is installed. Is sometimes happens that when your PC is out of date it is more likely to crash.

What is your PC specs? Note that you need quite a lot of RAM. Autodesk would recommend 4GB of RAM. If you are running a 64-bit you should use more that 6GB of RAM as the 6GB is enough to run your operating system alone. Im not saying this IS the problem, all Im saying is that this might be a cause or culprit of your problem.

Altrenatively you can share your drawing with me and I could have a look at it, but seems like this is quite a big project and information might be sensitive. You are more than welcome to share the model privately with a NDA.

Please let me know if this helps.

my PC is an HP workstation Z420, with 16Gb of RAM, video card nVidia 2000, W7pro 64bit, so I think that is not a problem .... PC prior to now I have never had problems like this ... .

by the way, I also tried with other projects, and the problem returns equal identical, then exclude that the problem can be traced back to the file ... but let me think its a software problem Mann (traurig)

Make sure your Direct X and Graphics Card Drivers is up to date. I have noticed that 2015 is much more intense on my graphics (even AutoCAD) than earlier versions.

So heres the link to check: Graphics Card Drivers

Good Morning, :grinsendes_Gesicht_mit_großen_Augen:

Please try the following: Under "Visibility Graphic Overrides" , "Revit Links" make sure all links are set to "Custom" and the "Detail Level" set to "Coarse"

Please let me know if this worked.

G'morning!

I do not know how ... but this morning .... is back to work. Yesterday I did not do nothing wrong and I have not changed anything, not even the video card drivers ....

The solution that I've marked

"Visibility Graphic Overrides", "Revit Links" make sure all links are set to "Custom" and the "Detail Level" set to "Coarse"

might work, but in doing so I lose all the potential of Revit ... for example the filters of visibility set in linked files ...
If the problem will recur let you know if it works properly or if there is a work-around "smarter"

Sorry let me just make sure that I am understanding this correctly.

Changing the Visibility Graphics to course worked but you feel that it looses a lot of potential?

Typically if you do a DWG export, you'll want to export the Coarse model-- the Medium/Fine versions could have more detail than whatever you're importing it into for e.g. 3D rendering can handle.

For me, installing the latest version of DWG TrueView solved the problem:
