Exploding CAD in Revit is not good practice. That being said, the error you're getting is not unusual. In fact, it's typical. Perhaps, we can offer a better approach. What is it you are attempting to do by way of exploding the CAD?
BTW, have you prepared the CAD file for importing into Revit (e.g. "cleaned it up")? That's a critical step. You'll find instructions/tutorials on the web to guide you in preparing your CAD for optimum performance in Revit.
@Anonymous
3D CAD elements will not remain when you exploded the import. If you want to keep them, do not explode them, organize them by layers in CAD, LINK (yes LINK is better than IMPORT) the CAD file in the project and assign different materials to different layers of the Import category.
Best is model it natively in Revit.
hello, i agree with @barthbradley it is a good practice. if you really want to explode and some objects are missing, try to go autocad of your file then in the command prompt type FLATTEN, then EXPLODE select everthing and type OVERKILL and try to link to your Revit file, but before you do that save to another filename of your autocad drawing and see if helps. thanks
I need to explode because to arrange coordinates and elevation. without explode could we arrange coordinates to cad import object ?
hello, be careful when you exploding autocad files with elevations value. once you explode it your value Z will be gone and once you linked to revit you need to key-in elevations height manually. you coordintaes can set thru manage > coordinates > specift coordinates at point. thanks
With all due respect to my compadre; "FLATTENING", "EXPLODING" and "OVERKILLING" is not going to make a better CAD explosion in Revit. This is not the "cleaning" to which I was referring.
Hai,
yes,i agree with @ennujozlagam.that the reason i acquire coordinates with linked file .but the issue was those objects(could't explode)for that objects how can i arrange coordinates ?
actually i took one long way to do this.that was on those could't explode objects i took one reference plane and draw a detail line then i'm giving coordinates to that DL. this the way i'm used to do,but some objects i need to arrange 10 coordinates that means i need to draw 10 RP s.
so how to simply to arrange coordinates to can't explode objects ?
Thanks,
Best regards,
Satya.

Not entirely clear as the thread progressed, but I stand corrected nonetheless. Glad you're up and running.
Cheers!
