Existing Walls detail level to be course, new construction walls detail level fine

Hi all,

im sure there is a simple solution to this but i cant find it.

I'm designing a large house extension, all the existing walls are on the previous phase and i want the detail level of the existing to be coarse and solid grey. The proposed walls are on the new construction phase and id like the detail level of the proposed walls to be Fine and to be in colour. but i cant seem to do this. can someone please help me?

cheers

Set view to show Existing + New and adjust the Phase Filters Overrides to

  • show new construction by Category
  • show existing Overridden

Alternatively use view filters based on Phase created

It is doable. Screenshot below shows they are the same wall. One is set to existing and the other is set to new construction. All you have to do is modify the existing phase filter override by making it shaded. Then in phase filter set to show previous and new.
