Hi all,
I would like to know if there is a possibility to process such an excavation work in Revit.
I enclose a pic to make myself clearer.

Typically for that, you would recreate the topo and set one for existing and the other for new. Adjust or place points to adjust the level in relevant places.
You can also use a pad, but the sides will be straight.
So best way is to use graded region?
There is no way to model the pad not only like extrusion but also as blend?
An option might be to create a pad and then model an in-place family to create the sloping sides of the excavation.
Are you asking if Revit can do cut/fill reports? Absolutely. Need a Toposurface though. Do you have one modeled?
What the heck; I'll thrown in one too...
@XXalessio.amodioXX: Ever do any clay sculpting? Same method basically. Create a Graded Region Copy of your Existing Phase Toposurface and "sculpt" the Graded Region Copy by strategically adding/removing Points. Revit will track the amount of "earth" removed or added. Really a pretty simple process.
i am having the same querry. i tried using graded region and then building pad an got earthwork quantities but with no side slope. i want to calculate earthwork including side slopes. Any help would be appreciated
