When using eTransmit with Revit 2017, it throws an error with some projects:
Unable to transmit [projectname].rvt.
Please see the generated report for more details.
It doesn't generate a report, so how to find out what's going on?
Hi Simon
E-Transmit shows an error if the route where the back-up is saved is too long.
Try creating an e-transmit saving to your desktop. That works for me all the time.
Hi @Simon_Weel
Can you confirm if you have the latest updates installed for your Revit version?
To make sure that the issue you are seeing is not something already fixed in one of the product updates, I would suggest checking the Desktop App to see if there are any Revit updates available. For information on using the Desktop App see the following article: About the Autodesk Desktop App
Note: If you are not able to download updates through the Desktop App, the following article has information on downloading updates through the Autodesk Accounts page:
Install Updates, Add-ons, and Enhancements
If the updates do not resolve your issue, please post a journal and a screencast or screenshots of what you are experiencing?

Looking forward to your reply update.
