Establish Wall as Main Wall - Join issue

Hello evryone , i'm having some trouble with the joining of some walls i'm trying to join...
i have a wall which is divided by a column...i mean, 2 walls if you want... but these 2 walls are masonry walls which in my project are identified as Main structural walls...
I want to wrap the column in some gypsum panel with the corresponding structure, but when i try to create it, the masonry wall automatically moves back (as displayed in the top right of the column here).

I need every side to be like it is displayed on the lower right wall...so i figured it has to be a way to set a 'main wall' for the others to attach to, without it being affected by some secondary wall...because everything goes crazy when i try to do it...

I don't know if i'm being clear here, any kind of advise would be nice.
Thank you.

Select the masonry wall. If it is one wall, then split it into two segments. Then for each segment, right-click on a blue dot at the end of the wall, then select "disallow join". Then move the walls back exactly where they need to be.
