How (numerically, quantitatively, precisely) are thermal bridging factors accounted in the detailed energy model as output to gbXML? What are the precise algorithms utilized? How, for instance, are metal stud gauge, cavity insulation, and continuous insulation, accounted in the thermal properties of the space boundary emitted in the energy analysis model? How are shelf angles, variously detailed to isolate them thermally from the structure in the plane of the continuous insulation, accounted in a linear chi-factor applied to the surrounding thermal envelope? I am trying to come up with a way whereby architecturally intuitive specification decisions can inform BEM-ready gbXML, via a more-or-less naïve draftsman, without human validation, and therefore without unfeasible commercial restraints.
