Energy Analysis Won't Run

I have my fully created 3D model, Which has conceptual mass and the mass floor. Also I created the energy model of the mass, but when I run "Create Energy model" It keeps telling me

"There are no visible Masses in the current View.

Either create a mass or adjust the visibility of an existing Mass and try again."

Yes, I already created the mass floor (see the attached image), but still can't run the energy analysis

Try these:

1. Choose Conceptual Mass and Building Elements even though you only have Mass.

2. Choose Conceptual Mass only > Create Energy Model > Generate

I just want to sim the mass instead of the building elements.

Because building elements cannot apply the detail model parameter in energy setting dialog box.

I think this is a different case because I just want to run a energy analysis of conceptual mass model. Not building element.

Then use the option 2 I posted above.  It works as shown by the analysis result screenshot.

So means revit cannot run the report by itself? Must be generate the report by insight?

Many thanks.

But is it normal, or it's a bug of revit:grinsendes_Gesicht_mit_Schweißperlen:

It is by Design.  You create a model in Revit, generate an energy model from it, and push it to Insight to run analysis.

But why the system analysis cant apply in  "Use conceptual mass" ?

I searched the relevant tutorial video on internet and those video showing this function is OK. (Say 2014 version)

Use Conceptual Masses: This mode is used with legacy workflows. This mode is provided only to support older models. Some advanced energy settings relate only to these legacy modes; those settings are unavailable when the mode is set to Use Conceptual Masses and Building Elements. See Create the Energy Model: Massing.

Many thanks for the explanation.

Is it possible to change the Revit 2020 to legacy mode?
