End Cut of Adaptive Baffle

We are facing one issue for Baffle adaptive component placing in one curved surface (adaptive mass). Mainly we need the end cut of the baffle like attached snap. Suggestion/Solution will be much appreciated.

In Both the nested Profile family and the Type 3 Points family:

Change the adaptive Component Orientation to Host XYZ

I understood your question the first time...to have the component's normal follow the normal of the host. Change the orientation of the adaptive to XYZ Host (where Z is the normal) as mentioned in the previous reply. It is the purpose of an adaptive to adapt to certain conditions...in this case it is the curve hosting it

In the images I posted above, the cure ends tangent to the horizontal plane...

  • Adjust the curve not to be tangent to the horizontal plane and you wont have the straight cut.
  • Alternatively, use a custom end piece at the end of the curve
