I'm running Revit 2019 on an AWS Workspace that has the GPU package: "graphic-design-large" (AMD FirePro S7150x2)
However, whenever I run Revit I get the message about unsupported hardware, and that Hardware acceleration is disabled. I tried the trick of removing the AdskHardWareCertificationReport.xml, but still get this message.
How do I access the GPU powers of this machine with Revit? It's very slow otherwise as even OpenGL won't run.
I've seen marketing from both AWS, Autodesk and the Teledici PCoIP vendor touting the benefits of Revit in AWS, so there must be a way.
@Anonymous Regarding your warning "unsupported hardware" please review the Revit 2019 System requirements in the link below. Revit 2019 does not use GPU when rendering, it uses CPU. Also, find in the second link an approved solution for your request. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply, and I understand that Revit relies primarily on the CPU. I want to be clear: For the "Hardware Acceleration" option, is there an AWS Workspaces configuration that meets the Requirements? Or is there not a path to use an AWS Workspace box with hardware acceleration enabled?
@Anonymous as Autodesk we support the following physical Certified Graphic Hardware:

By using AWS I and due to virtualization, programs on the AWS instance may not see this graphics card/system, is important to validate with your AWS representative and check which version of DirectX is detected and understand that DirectX for Revit is the one that allow Hardware Acceleration.

Having the same issue as the original poster - the responses do not answer the question. How do you enable the Revit required "Hardware Accelerator" on a AWS workspace? Or disable it so that Revit still operates on the AWS workspace system?
