Embeding a Curtainwall into another Curtainwall.

Hello

I am building a wall that is a metal panel wall that has large normal curtainwall elements within it.  I have done one like this years ago.  At that time I embedded one curtainwall into another.  Otherwise the issue of edge of panel aligning to the mullions is hard to deal with.  I'm having trouble being able to select the second curtainwall to cut the first curtainwall.  I made the one that is to be embedded "Automatically Embed".  But it still isn't working.  I know that I can edit the wall profile and then place the window portions inside the openings.  But others will struggle to figure that out in the future.

What's the best solution here?  Am I just missing a step?

It only works when you cut a wall with a curtain wall. In your case, use Edit profile.

Are you talking embedding a wall or a panel?

Want to post your file? I got another idea. Thinking that wall as a panel might work here.

Thanks.  That's what I did and it still works.  I just couldn't remember.
