Elumtools shared parameter 'Luminaire Lumens' in schedules

Has anyone had luck using the Elumtools shared parameters like 'Luminaire Lumens' in their schedules? My understanding is that this is automatically pulled from the IES file but I cannot get it to work.

Not this specific parameter. But I use the below highlighted shared parameters ElumTool uses. They work like any other shared parameter.

At what point are you stuck? Do you already have that parameter in your light fixture family? Since it reads from the ies file, maybe that happens in the project. Maybe also make it an instance project parameter.

If you can't figure it out, they also have excellent CS.

Thank you, I loaded the shared parameter so it becomes part of the lighting family. I made an instance and checked the schedule and the parameter shows 0 lm! Will contact the folks at Elumtools- sorry what do you mean by CS? Customer service? Thank you!

Yes, CS=customer Service. They really are great. If my other software CS would be only half as good as ElumTool, the World would be a better place.

Does the luminaire manager show the correct lumens?

That parameter may not read the ies file within the family. the parameters i sue, are ones i  set in the family. i don't have experience with parameters that would read from the ies-file.

Please keep us up to date on what solution you end up with.

I just show the lumens manually by manually entering from manufacturer spec sheet for each type. The ies file often has slightly different values. A few manufacturers don't have an ies-file for each lumen package and recommend adjusting the lightloss factor.. I don't like that and avoid such manufacturers unless there literally is no choice. but for those your method reading the ies file wouldn't work.
