Stair by sketch constructed with arc segments that approximate an ellipse, and riser lines perpendicular to the approximated ellipse; will create geometry with a series of chamfered steps. If it does create accurate geometry the run is inverted and flipping the stair will introduce the chamfers
hard to believe this need has not already been a need addressed somewhere.

It's been addressed many times on many forums. Revit has its limitations. This is one of them. Sometimes it can be fixed and sometimes not. If you come up with a novel fix/workaround, share it with us.
Good luck.
If you want to use Monolithic stair then the riser lines must be radiated from the centroid of the ellipse. If you can use Assembled stair then the riser lines can be perpendicular to the ellipse.
when using the monolithic stair and changing all riser lines to radial as directed, it does not allow needed location of landing (wide tread)
Tested several times adding and removing risers progressively around the path, fails at the quadrant point.
thanks
fully expected this was a fail in the capabilities
was simply a hopeful attempt to discover if some hack existed
searched for this subject to prevent our wasted time, but did not locate one

Not sure if I understand. I can move the landing to where you pointed them out in your picture without issue.
Or do you mean one landing immediately after the other?

send the file please, we have collectively wasted 3 days on this subject, and are only marginally less aggravated to have it be some silly oversight
THANK YOU
dude, can you say what we were doing wrong ?
we have modeled this more than 30 times, to isolate the mysterious Revit hangup
this most recent attempt construct the stair as yours does, but its inverted, and flip fails
