I m sure you guys have ran into this situation where you have elevation view tags pointing to different sheets, resulted in no reference at all (left).

Pls save me the work-around of making 4 different tags.

I know somewhere someone already made similar tag as shown on the (right).

Wd you point me there if you know ? Thanks in advance.

- Edit the elevation pointer family and add Sheet number to the label

- Edit the elevation marker family and remove Sheet number label

Save them as copy so that you can create a different elevation type for only this situation.

With that said, I would just place them as different elevation markers altogether and use the standard one with the sheet number inside the circle.

Thanks Toan. I made it. Not perfect visually, but good enough for me.

Extra parameter for North arrow rotation seems not allowable in this tag kind, perhaps yo

No instance parameters work in elevation families. You could create different types for different angles, or place a north arrow separately over the elevation marker in view in project.

Thanks, I went with the first suggestion with a downloaded family.

Inside the family itself, the triangle has center point at the center of the triangle. However when I bring it in the model, the insertion mark is shown at somewhere else, making angle parametric adjustments gone off center everytime. How to fix this ?

I also learn from Rv19, (where I worked while ago), that you can lock (not pin) two families together, but I forget. Does anybody remember how ? Thx.
