Elevation Callout not working right with rotated view.

For some reason this elevation tag is not orienting the sheet number and the drawing number separation correctly in this view. The view is rotated, and I am suspecting the problem has something to do with that. I'm also attaching the related family I made (that is clearly flawed by how it performs in this example).

Any idea how I can get the separation line, and related text, to be oriented horizontally/ Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mike

Did you use Rotate view on sheet?  Try rotate the view's crop region, or create a scope box, assign to the view, and rotate the scope box.

I did rotate the crop region. I did not use the rotate on the sheet function. Never really understood the purpose of the later. 🙂

Thank ToanDN

Thanks ToanDN. Great Socratic method. I appreciate all the examples that show - so realistically - all the conditions that can exist. Something like that would be fine. I took a closer look at the text settings in the family and it appears I I just need to fiddle with the text parameters "keep readable" and "fixed rotation" to get an adequate result.
