Elevation Boxes grayed out, but not selectable

I'm looking at a floor view of a Design Option and can see an Elevation box/marker I placed, but it's in undertone. When I change to the Main Model, that same Elevation marker/box isn't visible. How will I be able to select and delete the elevation markers?

Hi,

Viewmarkers can't be in a DesignOption, not sure what would hide it.

But, in the design option where you can see the marker, disable "Active Only" (See bottom right corner).

Now you can select the marker and delete it.

is there a way to make this unchecked the whole time? it's such tedious task to be clicking all the time while working on a specific design option.
