Element Renumber Error: Revit could not complete external command

If you are getting this error: 

developer kindly told me to follow these steps:

Just delete config file. Please delete ALL files under:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\JOTools\ElementRenumbering2023

Where USERNAME is your windows user name, and 2023 is the Revit version with the problem.
