I am working in a project were the Roof is model as a flooring element not as a Roof. I need to insert a ventilation dome opening. This element can only be inserted in roof element. I have created the element and then insert the dome and finally hide the roof element. My question is how can I make so the roof element wont be exported to the IFC. If the roof element is even hidden it will exported.
