Element ID

When I try to open a file I get a message saying that "the element 477355 is damaged...".

When I open a previous file (the one that I think has the damaged elemenet that I copied to the new file), I can't find the element searching with the ID selection tool. I tried making a chart with the elements ID and it doesn't match with the numbers that I get with the ID selection tool.

All the ID numbers that I have from the elements in the project are 938000 or so. How can I find what this number -477355- means, o which element does this ID number refer to (element, material,...)?

Do you have a clean local copy of the project? I would try to find the most recent local, test it to make sure that the damaged element does not do its thing, then replace the central model.

I'm not following you. Does the project with that bad element open? If not, open it with Audit and then find the element by ID.
