Editing in Schedule Hangs entire PC

I've had this issue now for a few months. Cannot submit to support, since the entire computer is frozen - requires a hard-reset. Can't even do a Ctrl+Alt+Del to get hold of Task Manager.

 

It occurs every time I try to edit values in any schedule. Will work for about 10 or so edits (varies from 3 edits to 20 edits before crash occurs). Door, Window, Panel, Grids, Multi, Material takeoff, Sheet list, everything. Individual or grouped values, no difference - crash every time. Instance parameters or type parameters, no difference, crash every time. Every single schedule does this, existing or new. Have tried now on several projects. Even on a new blank project I've started a few minutes ago, from template as well as from "no template".

 

Using Revit 2021.1.4, on Win10 Pro. i7-5930K, 64GB RAM, GTX 960, 512 GB SSD.

 

Anyone have an idea how I can get hold of debug info to send to ADesk? Or even some knowledge of a possible problem / fix? As stated, the machine just goes unresponsive, entirely. It's not just Revit which crashes, but the entire Windows.

 

I'm fearing it's something to do with the machine itself. As it only happens on this PC, none of the others in this office has an issue like this, even on the exact same schedules. However, this computer works perfectly fine otherwise, everything else in Revit goes smooth, modelling, annotation, text editing, through a title sheet or in a view, all forms of views, editing values in the properties palette, creating and viewing schedules. Placing views, legends and schedules on sheets, even rendering goes "fine", etc. It's only when editing values in schedules.

After the 2021.1.6 hotfix, tried again. Still same problem. Work the whole day on modelling and annotation, nothing wrong. Work in a schedule for a few minutes, and suddenly the computer is unresponsive.

Does it happen if you log in the computer as a different user account?

Haven't tried. No 2nd account on this machine, and I don't have the rights to create one either.
