Hello all,
I'm looking for a tutor that can show me how to edit parametric families. I am trying an experiment from a nanawall window to a door in a kitchen exterior wall. is anyone interested? will pay. included revit file in 2020.
If you do not know their nice files however they are five years or more old. The two things would like to learn is to modify a window or door family to do the transition and to modify the HSW 66 beyond family to bend to a curved or segmented wall.
thank you Leo Malkin

You can't modify the NanaWall families you posted to "bend". You'll need to actually build a custom families for a curved and segmented wall. I'm sure that a curved or segmented HSW 66 would be custom-build for the manufacturer as well. If you were really ambitious, you could build a parametric family that could be resized to meet different curved and segmented wall conditions in the Project(s). But, that would require a good understanding of parameters, formulas and trigonometry. Your best bet would be to build them to custom specs and forget parameters. Also, if it's a segmented-curved wall, and the segments are wide enough, you could just "mull" together several of instances of the families you have, in the project. Before I started down any road, I'd research what NanaWall can and cannot do.
