Edit topography boundary (extend)

Hello,

I've been looking around on how to edit and extend boundaries of topography surface. Is this immediate or there is any trick to it? Can some one help?

You can't add point outside the Boundary points, but you can certainly reposition (e.g. drag) the Boundary Points  outwards. 

...just to be clear: you're talking Split Surface, right?
