Hello,
I have a room with an interior toilet and I want to create a Revit room for all of this space. Now when I place the room it choose only the room or only the toilet as there is a wall between them.
So how I can change the wall boundaries?
P.S. In order to avoid this I create Areas in which I can edit the boundary. But I need to create rooms in order tafter to be able to create schedules.
Thank you in advance!
Seelct the wall between the toilet and the other room, look at the instance properties of the wall.
You'll see that "Room Bounding" is checked, uncheck this.
Thank you!
Could you tell me also which is the difference between room and area?
I made both and the result for the surface is the same.
The difference that I see is that in the room I can assign (from the properties) the material for the wall, floors etc.
Thank you!!

Room boudnaries are defined by walls, floors,... or Room Boundary Lines when necessary.
Areas are always defined by Area Boundary Lines.
Areas are usually much larger than rooms as they can encompass an entire level.
