Hy

In Revit, all the units are controlled globally.

How to change the units in Revit

Is Diameter a Length parameter? I bet it is not.

@ToanDN

Of course, it's a length parameter.
However, it is not controlled with "Length", but with "Bar Diameter" (Discipline Structural).

@barthbradley

Thanks, man. I forgot about that.
Obviously this does not apply to all parameters.

Don't use that Diameter.  Add a calculated value parameter = 2*Radius and you can format the units.

Hi,

I hope i can make myself clearer with the video. I would like to tag the anchor diameter without decimal places.

Hi

Unfortunatelly is not working.

For the last time: This is not possible with all parameters.

But you can control it through the project units.

Yeah the Diameter is clearly just a text parameter, hence no formatting.  The radius, even though listed as a one of the anchors' available parameters, does not actually appear for the anchors.  I have no solutions as this time.

You could use Comments field to type in the Diameter value as you see fit, then use that for the label.

I don't believe what you show has anything to do with his.  They are two different things.  Try an anchor and an anchor tag.  And units format should be available for all parameters with units (Length, Area, Volume, etc...).

Again, Diameter and Length of Anchors are text. They list different configurations of the anchors coming in from the Advance Steel database. They are not the Length parameter, don't let the names fool you.

I can only test the annotation family.
I have no anchor families with me.

If your statement is correct, where is the problem?

Then you can write "3 tomatoes" as length in the properties. Without zeros behind it.

The problem is you can't write to Diameter and Length of an anchor. They are readonly, coming from a database.

Problem is that radius parameter not working for anchoring.
You can do whatever with the parameter but it WILL NOT appear in TAG.

Hi, I do believe it is the best solution, but not parametric one because I have to type manually anchor bolt dimension.

Theoretically you can open the database in Advance Steel and modify the Diameter list, then reload it back in Revit.
