Can somebody please explain this!!!!!

I have edited the crop region of a particular view to suit the floor plan. When I hit the "crop view" button all my annotation items disappear (Detail lines, filled regions etc.)

What the **** is going on???!!!!!

Regards,

Tai

Very difficult to say without any visual information about the project

Crop view also have settings for annotation crop. So it depends where you origins of your annotation lay.

I have just realised that it only does it on the sheet.

So on the floor plan everything looks fine when the view is cropped but then when you switch to the sheet there are no detail lines and filled regions.

This makes it even more frustrating.

I will attach a couple of images

Unfortunately it is nor very clear what is happening. Will it be possible to strip down your project to some relevant parts, where the issue is happening, and then uploading it?

It is difficult to understand what is going on because your two screenshots are not both taken with the view activated.

1. I can tell that the "FALL" arrows are annotated onto the sheet instead of annotated into the view. I can tell this because they are black when you do not have a view on the sheet active, but they turn gray (along with everything else that's not part of the view) when you activate the view. Somebody drew them onto the sheet without activating the view first.

2. The only other things I can see that change are the marker for Section E/A14 (which I assume is completely outside of the annotation crop boundary) and a rectangle of dashed lines over the roof. I don't see any filled regions in either screenshot.

3. So in your images, the only thing that I find confusing is that rectangle of dashed lines. What is it exactly? It's not even a perfect rectangle. What is it supposed to be, and what Revit tool was used to make it?

4. Are you certain that the view on the sheet is the same view you are looking at separately? Are you sure the one on the sheed isn't a duplicate view, and perhaps has different annotations?
