Hello,
I've just purchased the new Macbook Pro, 15-Inch with the i9-processor and Radeon Pro AMD 560X graphics card.
BUT I can't seem to get my head around why the f... the 3D-view won't show when using Dynamo. It works like a charm in Revit; no problems at all!
I've tried disabling the hardware-acceleration in the Revit options-menu; tried every option in Dynamo itself, and what else i've been able to see might be affecting the functionality. I'm running Revit 2020 btw!
ANY help will be MUCH appreciated.
- Thanks in advance.
Hi!
This is a well-known issue that Dynamo sometimes has problems with showing 3D on notebooks with two videocards (integrated and external), especially when one of these cards is Radeon. When working on Windows the solution would be to enforce Dynamo run only on one of these two cards (integrated if I am not mistaken). For this purpose you need to go to the graphics card's control panel, select Dynamo and Revit and switch them to load with integrated card. Also, in certain machines such customizations are located in BIOS.
I don't know whether this would help on MAC. But I am pretty sure that you should start from this point. Good luck!

Hi!
Unfortunately, i've been unsuccesful in all of my attempts… I have tried setting the graphics, by entering from the dashboard on the computer, going straight to the Radeon Pro settings.
The only logical reason to the malfunction is, that the graphics-card haven't been "approved" by Revit yet. Although it seems weird that every function in Revit itself works perfectly!
That is really sad!
Have you tried to force Dynamo and Revit to launch only with integrated card?
