Hi Team:
I am fairly new to the Dynamo product. Our firm has been exploring ideas for automating processes specifically QA/QC drawing checklists that will force the designer/user to confirm specific drawing standards/requirements are met while designing. I wanted to know if there is a way to create a process/script that would generate a checklist within the Revit model to ensure quality of design and constructibility.
For example, when drafting wall sections is there a way to create a script that will generate/launch a checklist that lists constructibility requirements for a wall section (etc. envelope standards depending on construction type, etc.)
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
It is too vague to answer properly. But here some steps that might help you on your way.
So Dynamo makes use of the same code as Revit does. What you have to think of is, how would you do this without Dynamo? Are you thinking schedules, drafting views....?
Further with Dynamo, the user runs a particular script. So the action start when it is executed by the user. So it will not pop up automatically (e.g. when a user starts drawing a wall), what would be called events based.
If it is something like schedules, drafting views, why not put them in your template?
Have you considered using something like the BIM Interoperability Tools? The model checker might be something that could help you with the QA/QC process.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
