DWG link is lost after updating

Can anybody help me. I've faced some trouble. The title says for itself. Also it worth mentioning that I copied DWG-link to another folder. After path updating it disappears from all views. It's important for me, because our EIR demands DWG to be placed as a link. Thank you in advance!

Interesting. Did you check the Manage Links dialog box to see if it just got detached somehow? Might just have to reload the link.

Make sure all worksets are visibile, and none got closed.

How did you update path?  By using Reload From... in the Manage Links Dialog Box?  Exact same file name, just different location?  And the Status is Loaded?  Is the Path Relative or Absolute

Sorry, I must confess that I forgot to tell you one important detail. My DWG file has inner links and that seems like a key to solution.

Yes, I simply copied content from inner links to base file and now all works.

You mean a link nested within another link?

Yes, I mean exactly the same. We can choose link type for RVT files, but unfortunately, there is no such option for DWG files.

I am using Revit 2021. Maybe Autodesk added that option in later versions.

The option is in AutoCAD.
