DWG Export without hatching

Hi All,

I would like to export DWGs from Revit without any hatches at all. Looking at the Export Settings dialogue box it does not seem as though this is possible. Any ideas?

Thank you,

Set up separate views for exporting and turn off Projection/Surface and Cut Fills for all objects in those views.

That is a lot of work when exporting several sheets with multiple views per sheet. Any way to do this in the settings dialogue without duplicating every view?

Welcome to the community!

If this is something you do often, you could set up a parallel set of View Templates to the ones you normally use, with the Fills turned off, then temporarily apply those View Templates to the Views being exported.  Still a bit of work if you have a lot of views on a lot of sheets.

It may be easier to set up an AutoCAD customization that could be run post-export to remove the unwanted hatches.  Mapping the unwanted fills to a unique layer would make that task easier, particularly if there are some fills that you want to keep.
