hello,

when i export DWF from any sheet, the DWF doen't have any object snaps inside the plans.

what im trying to do is to insert my revit DWF into autocad and snap on the dwf's objects.

what can i do to fix it?

and another small question is why my text getting distorted when i export to dwf ?( the spaces between words are suddenly getting smaller to the point that some of the words almost connect)

Hi @Anonymous

I see that you are a new visitor. Welcome to the Architecture forums!

Can you share some screenshots, the versions of Revit and share a file to test?

Also confirm if you are on the latest build of Revit, if not please go to your Autodesk Desktop App and check for updates and install them.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Regards,

Hi @Anonymous

You can Enable or Disable Snaps in Revit.

When you import or link geometry to the current Revit model, use the Positioning option of the related Import or Link dialog to specify how the incoming geometry is placed relative to the host model.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for and if you have additional questions!

Regards,

Yep....DWF's are pretty much images...so no snaps.

Why are you exporting to DWF?  If you are going to be using CAD then export to DWG.

Attached DWFs in AutoCAD snap just fine. You need to make sure set the Print Setup under DWF Properties when exporting to Vector.

See the sample files.

Hi,

It was working fine for a while, and suddenly now it stopped snapping again.

The only vector/raster processing I see on the DWF print export dialog is for hidden lines.

File attached

Thanks

Lee
