We are having this issue where A dwf or a dwfx with redlines, when being imported back into Revit does not import back to the correct scale. Smiley Frustrated

Any Ideas on how to correct this??? this will be in Revit v2015

Hi CHB_LRS,

Are you importing straight to the Sheet environment?

If this is so.. try to import it on a Floor Plan or a Drafting View first and then load it on a Sheet. The Sheet Layout i think have allways the 1:1 scale....

Kind regards,
Marvi BASHA

Hmmmmm, last time I checked you cold only import dwf or dwfx as markups, and they are ony placed on sheets pinned. We have no control at all over how or where.

We were able to find the solution to this post while working with the user in collaboration

So in case someone have this issue please follow thee steps:

  • Need to install the hotfix for design review 2013

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/design-review/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-design...

  • Open the problematic view in Design Review 2013, add any markup on all the views in case they are many in the same dwf file.

  • Keep holding on CTL + Z to undo all these temporary Markup modifications and then save the file and the issue should be fixed.

A little better explination of what we did:

To resolve the DWF scale import issue we did the following:

  • Install the Hotfix on everyone’s machines who will be using Design Review. (At some point we will deploy it to all machines in the office)

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/design-review/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-design...

  • Open the faulty dwf, and a newly exported dwf from the project.
  • Sheet by sheet select the comments.
  • Copy (CNTRL+C) and paste (CNTRL+V) all the comments from the faulty one to the new one.
    1. This is a one-time deal.
    2. The comments should retain all the markup properties associated with it.
  • Save new dwf.
  • Unlink bad dwf out of Revit.
  • Link the new dwf into Revit.
  • Done.
