Duplicate view greyed out

Hi everyone.

I am very new to Revit but I have managed to model a building. I have put views onto drawing sheets for presentation drawings and I now want to create another sheet with the same ground floor plan however the duplicate view is greyed out.  Can somebody please help? I can't believe how difficult it is to do something as simple as sheeting up a plan.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I think you are trying to duplicate the sheet. That's not the correct procedure. First, duplicate the view. Then, create a new sheet. Then, put the new view into the new sheet.

@Anonymous hello, try to go to your ground floor plan and right click duplicate duplicate view and choose as "duplicate as a depedent" and drag this to your sheet. thanks

Thank you to both of you. It's worked! At least I can stop pulling my hair out over this one now 🙂
