Hello,

 

I want to make a material parameter drop down menu like the jpg (see attachment).

How can I make this "drop down" with multiple materials ? 

 

I don't know how this (what you see in the attachment) is made... 

 

(sorry my English is bad)

Interesting. That parameter is associated to a Family Type Parameter label given to a nested family. I'd like to see the parent. Wanna post it?

@barthbradley is correct.

 

  • You need to create a Generic model family and add different Types as you need, for example: sawed, honed, flamed, polished
  • Nest it into your host family
  • Create new parameter and choose Type of parameter = <Family Type...>. Then pick Generic Models from the next window.

  • When done you can have a drop-down list to select from
