Hi Guys,
This is my first post to the forum so apologies if it's been mentioned before.
When I print a sheet from Revit, using a pdf driver, I would like the pdf file name to have the sheet / drawing number,
for example
ABCD-12.345-AA-ZZ-00-DR-A-2000 [drawing number on sheet] becomes ABCD-12.345-AA-ZZ-00-DR-A-2000.pdf,
rather than taking the model sheet number for example ABCD-12.345-AA-ZZ-ZZ-M3-A-M00_username_-Sheet:2000-Proposed Ground Floor Plan.
I hope I'm being clear but if not please do not hesitate to get back to me for clarification.
Thanks in Advance.
John

It's a three step process:
1. Remove: ZZ-M3-A-M00_username_-Sheet:2000-Proposed Ground Floor Plan
2. Add: 00-DR-A-2000
3. Save as pdf file.

Have a look here that might be useful:
At our firm some people use the plugin Xrev Transmit to do batch plotting with parameter driven file names, personally I use a Dynamo graph.
Thanks Martijn,
I've checked out the RVT app and it appears to be pretty impressive, I'm trialing it at the moment.
However I do agree with some of the comments that you would expect this function to be built into Revit.
