Draw by One Element

Hello Guys
I'm just wondering if it is possible to build a Rectangle by 600x1400mm with a thickness of 20mm by using "Sweep" only, I'm trying to have a drawing which is drawn by one element to not have a lot of elements, I will upload the Revit File or Photos for you to have an idea about what I mean exactly, of course I'm able to build it but I used 2 elements until I got this shape, First I drew a Rectangle and then I used "Sweep" to Kinda Chamfer the edges to Smooth it up and then I joined them both together so now I have 2 elements that are joined, so I hope you can tell me how to build this by "using Sweep only". Hope you answer me soon. Thanks in Advance.

Kind Regards

Only if it's square rather than rectangular.

I think your method is good.

Hello

You need two elements for sure.

one for basic block

and another void.

with sweep you can do these..

Thank you for your  answer ganeshingnekar
But I was hoping that there is a way to do it by Sweep at once, besides that in your Option you First Drew a Box and then you used Void Extrusion and then we have to use another Void by Sweep to Chamfer the Edges so all of this became 3 Elements. So that was my Real Problem to avoid this steps and try Drawing it by one Element.
Thanks again for taking the time to answer me!

You can do also as follows:

  • draw a rectangle of 600x700 to use as path
  • make a sweep with a width of 300 only on 3 edges (700, 600,700)
  • use mirror on the edge without sweep
  • Join the two entities

Your solution was the best "Bin" in this case I can draw it by using sweep only and then I can just use void sweep to chamfer the other 2 edges and I will have 2 elements only instead of 3 beside the joins.
Thank you very much!

Tbh I prefer the method you use in your first post (1 extrusion and 1 sweep)

It’s easy to built with parameters and contains no void.
I alway try to avoid void if I can.

I also prefer that, to avoid void extrusions but in your method we would have to use only to elements so I think your's will be easier and faster, in my method the only thing is to join them which I don't like cause I'm trying to have one piece object. But anyways it's about choice each of us prefers something.
