Downloaded Models not usable: Families wont load & Clipboard tools unusable

I have downloaded several models, from RevitCity, BimObjects & Herman Miller. When I open them the entire Clipboard section is grayed out and I am unable to copy. On downloads of families, I click upload to project and it goes back to the project but the family is not in the model. Apparently as a student user, I do not have access to phone or email support and this is for my final, due in 2 days. Please Help.

I don't understand. You downloaded family content and cannot open it? Or, you opened the downloaded families and...well, something about the "Clipboard". What are you trying to "copy" or do precisely?

Do not copy clipboard from a family and paste to the project. If your instructor asked you to do so then file for a refund. Open the families and load in project, then go to the project's family browser tree and drag family type to the drawing window.

Or simply open the download folder and drag drop the families onto the revit project drawing window (plan or 3d view).
