I created this plasterboard wall as a curtain wall system and I added a layer of plasterboard as panels.
I want to add a second layer of plasterboard on the top of the first one, but I want to start with a piece of 600 mm and the rest of the panels be 1200 mm.
Can anyone help me to do this?
You can use offset value. So it start 600mm first and then 1200mm for the rest.
Also I would use wall if you want to have double layer Gypsum. See attached
unlock the CW grids to adjust panel.
...how 'bout just scrapping the whole double-whammy curtain wall panel and replacing all the curtain wall panels with a compound-layered basic wall type? That work?
Unfortunately it won't work as I model for construction, not for rendering and I need every small detail of the wall type so I can accurately animate the whole construction process.
That would solve one problem but will create another.
I need to get rid of grids and lock the both systems together, also I need to put insulation and pattresses and for that I would have to create a different curtain wall for each.
It would work if I could select the second layer separately, but the grids are common for both layers and moving one grid will move both layers and I need staggered panels
Yes, they are two layers but they are not staggered.
It would be great if I could select the panels and replace the first one with a 600 mm panel and continue with 1200 after, but Revit will not let me select the panels.
