Double Footing Issue

Hey guys. Attached I have an image of the issue I am having.  I created a wall that has 4" Conc, 2" Rigid, 8" Conc, then an interior 1 5/8" Metal Stud Wall.  The Precast Concrete portion will run from the footings to the parapet. The Metal Stud Wall will only run from the floor level to the ceiling level.  I want to attached a footing to (obviously) only the bottom of the wall. But when I use my footing tool, It pops a footing below the concrete and below the Metal Stud wall. I can't adjust these footings seperately and I see no options on how to force to to only give me one footing.  Any ideas?!

Does anyone know if there is any progress on this bug? I am having trouble with it in 2023. I have unlocked the render layer on a masonry cavity wall so that I can stop the render at a bell bead above the ground but I am having an extra footing attached at the bottom of the render layer.
This only happens on the gable walls for some reason - it is not consistant.
I can easily work around it by removing the footings from the gables as I don't need to draw a section through them but I would like to know that it worked properly

Hi, has there been any update to this issue? I 'm encountering the same problem in Revit 2024.1. Footing appearing on both bottom of foundation wall and at level of base extension. Only occurs on end wall. Capture.JPG

I do not believe it has been fixed.  I have moved to a creating footings as a model in place, with a series of joined extrusions.  It is more accurate to how the actual footing would be constructed, as well as allowing for varying widths or thicknesses for point loads or other conditions.
