I have a pair door not showing correctly in RCP. It seems the door panel block part of the wall opening. Attached file is 2018. Thank you in advance!

In the Door Family, select the nested door panel family, and edit it. I believe there is a reference line which is causing the graphics problem when the door is loaded into the project.
Try changing the setting for the visibility for the reference line.
In the nested single door family, a mask region used. If this can be controlled by VG, I may turn off the mask region in RCP view. However, the mask is not able to setup in VG controls.
This is a little screwy. FWIW: I noticed that you used a model template for your nested detail. May I suggest that you use Detail Item Family Template for these kinds of elements.
Correct me if I am incorrect. I copied/inserted this double door from 2018 door family library. Unless you turn off door in VG all together, it seems something missing in RCP view.
Try Auditing the family. I didn't think of that, but an Audit might correct the screwy behavior.
If you need the panels masking the floor plan then add an invisible vertical line in the nested panel family that is tall enough to be cut by the floor plan cut panel but not by the RCP cut plane, then set the mask to only show when cut.
Another option without altering the family is set the doors category to transparent for RCP views.
See revised file.

Am I missing something?
Yes. See my edited reply above. The mask is 2D but the family is cut-able and that governs the visibility of the mask (any any other detail lines).
