Hello.
This has been bothering me for far too long. I think it's an issue with Revit 2022. Whenever I use Tag All and then select Window/Door Tags, the tag numbers for different types of windows/doors have all the same value. For example, the window tags for fixed windows is all number 1 while the window tags for sidelight windows is 28. I don't even know how it got to 28.

I was able to change the Type Mark with Mark by editing the window tag family. The tag numbers are now sequential but the number now starts with 6 instead of 1. How do I make it start with 1 without having to change all tag numbers?

Might be easiest to create a Window Schedule that includes Mark Parameter and then change the Mark value through the Schedule. Also, there is a free Add-In named PyRevit that has a Renumbering tool, along with a bunch of other useful tools.
