I can not figure out why the door swings are not showing up in my dimension plan. They are showing up in other plans of the project so it is not an issue with the family. The view range is set to cut through the door and there is one door showing its swing. Doors are also turned on in the view template and I have also turned doors on for every filter and they still don't show up. If I view hidden objects you can see the door swings there but are grayed out as if they are showing in the normal plan.

VG and expand Doors category tree see if any boxes, especially Plan Swing is unchecked.
the family is fine. its all my doors (different families) and they are showing in other views on the same projct
I just posted this question to another member:
You sure you are in the right view? It's not a Ceiling Plan view; right?
Yes, it is shared between everyone in the office
Just as I expected and stated, the swings are a nested family under Generic Model category. So you need to check that category for that dimension plan view.
very useful. I followed and checked the above one and finally got answer for my same problem,
Hello, I have a similar problem. I've created a Door with a nested door swing parametric family. and it's panel and swing lines are visible in ground level plan but not in first floor plan. The Panel is greyed out and swing lines are missing. I checked if the nested family is a Generic Model, but no it's assigned to the Door Category as well. I don't know what I'm missing here. Someone please help me out.GL Swing
