Door Schedule: Door Thickness Parameter Question

I am fairly new to my current employment.  Their default for door thickness in the schedule does not suppress zero feet. Every dimension under the thickness column reads 0'-2" instead of just 2" or whatever the thickness may be.  Any suggestions?  I could just make a new parameter, but I was hoping to edit the current thickness parameter.

Hi.You need to override the units format for the parameter and in the dialog check suppress 0' feet.

Every label or dimension has a units property where you can clear the box that says "use project settings" and utilize your own preferences.

  • look in Manage > Settings> Project Units...Format ...it could be a Rounding setup that affects the displayng of dimensions in schedules
  • it is also possible to be activated a conditional parameter in Family Editor...

Where do I find the units format for the thickness field in my door schedule?  I suppressed zero feet for the entire project, but my FFE reads 0" instead of 0'-0".  I cannot find any any dialog box that has the "use project setttings" check box either.  Will you send a screenshot?
