Door Operation parameter not showing

Hello

I have a question regarding the use of parameter Operation for Doors.

In the doorfamily there seems to be a (shared) parameter "Operation" but it doesn't show it.

I am using Revit LT ....could that be the problem?

If so, how can i make use of the Operation Parameter (maybe making it a custom parameter?)

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards

Nico

Operation parameter is just a text parameter. Are you expecting it to open/close the door or something?

Just select a door in project, Edit Type and you will see the parameter.

You don't see Operation under IFC Parameters when Edit Type?

I see the parameter now and can use it (custom text parameter)

But transferring it to IFC it still says "undefined"

Is there a down-down box associated with it in the IFC?

In Revit:

Not all parameters are transferred automatically...You have to schedule the properties you need to export to IFC (like Operation, Heat Transfer, or any other user added parameters...etc

export schedules.png

When you export (Revit's IFC Exporter):

Go to Modify Setup>>property sets>> check Export Schedules as PSet

Check also "Export Schedules containing IFC (make sure in the schedule header u add IFC to the title)

=> you will see those properties in the IFC model with a note next to them (Scheduled)
