Door Instance Properties Within Group

We are working on a project where we are using groups for storefronts that repeat through the project. The issue comes down to the schedule. Each door as part of the storefront group does have a unique door number which is what we want. But when we input an instance parameter into a door that is part of a group, they change all doors as part of that group (ie, hardware or comments). I thought I had done this before and it worked as instances, but perhaps I am wrong. Has anyone else come across this.

It may end up that I need to create a different group type if the instance parameters differ, but that would create more work. The best solution would probably have been to make a family, but the storefronts are easy to make.

Check "Values can vary by Group Instance" in Project Parameters.

I'm just messing with you, Toan. Yes, I did see your post. I copied your answer. I didn't even read what the author wrote. What did he say? HA!

Ha! I for a second thought your Internet Connection speed and Ping were terrible. It was like me playing MMORPG with my sisters across the Pacific Ocean.

That was it, unfortunately, you have to recreate the parameter to change it. There's always one more check box to verify.

Thanks,
