Door Identity data

Hi All! I have created a new door family. The issue is I wanted to copy the parameter of the other doors for my schedule. But some of the parameters I need cannot be exported as it was categorized as Identity data. Can anyone help me transfer the Identity data from one door to another?

Thank you in advance!!!

Are they Shared Parameters? If so, do you have the source Shared Parameter Text File?

Either way, you need to create the Parameters in the Family you want to use them in. You can Group the Parameters under Identity Data at any time.  Just edit Parameter and pick Identity Data from the drop-down list under "Group Parameter Under".

NOTE: Family Parameters must be Shared Parameters in order to report in Schedules.

Just to confirm: are those Identity Data Parameters coming from the Family or from the Project via Project Parameters assigned to the Door Category? I'm thinking the latter, which would mean ANY Door you load into the Project will have those Parameters Available.

Grouped under Identity Data has nothing to do with being able to be brought into other families. Are they family parameters or project parameters?  If they are family shared parameters, you can export them from the original family to a shared parameter text file and add them in other families.  If they are project parameters, you can add them in a schedule and tick the box assign parameter to all instances of the category.
