Hi,
I found a site with fire doors that in need desperately...
The only problem is that the "regular" handles (not the panic one) are missing from the 3D views and the elevations when uploaded to the model. In the family edit its displayed correctly.
What an I missing?
(this is the site:

all the doors that I tried from this site had the same problem).

-See if there is a visibility parameter for the standard door handles in the family. If not, create one and assign it to the door handles.
-Are the door handles a "nested family" inside the main door family?
-If so, make them Shared.
-In your views, under Visibility Graphics, Model Categories>Doors make sure "hardware" or similar is checked.
Check if a View Template is applied to the view--if so make sure door hardware is turned on.
There is only one type of interior door handle in the family; the panic bar type. Also, there is only one type of exterior door handle; a lever type. What do you want to do exactly? Display none? Display one and not the other? It's not clear to me.
- Edit the family, select the handles, open Visibility settings and set them to show for all Detail levels.
- or, change your 3D view to medium or Fine and see if the handles appear.
Thank you for your answers!
I found out the family had an option to hide it, and it was set as default to hide...
Thanks!
Yes, the visibility parameter is "HarwareSet1", but that only turns the exterior lever handle on or off. It doesn't affect the interior Panic Bar. That one is always visible.
